Since 2002 Laseter’s Tavern at Vinings has been hosting the Peach State Chapter’s viewing parties. Laseter’s is located at 4355 Cobb Pkwy., Atlanta, Ga. 30339, just inside the perimeter at the intersection of Rt. 41 and Paces Mill Rd. 

In addition to being a great place to hang out with other Mountaineer faithful, the atmosphere is comparable to Crockett’s (sadly, without the ring toss) and other West Virginia taverns. With two big screens and many other sets, there is not a bad seat in the house.

During football season, Laseter’s becomes Atlanta’s Mountaineer headquarters. All televisions and game sounds are dedicated to WVU, since we are the only official alumni group that meets there. Along with all ESPN, GamePlan and ABC televised games, Laseter’s also has additional satellite capabilities to get those more difficult to come by games not offered through home dish services. The place is ours to yell, scream and cheer for the Mountaineers, and we promise to have “Country Roads” playing loud and proud before and after each game.

Weeknight football games often offer special bonuses such as live entertainment. As an added incentive, Laseter’s offers a 10 percent food discount during the games to all dues-paid chapter members.

You may be asking… Do I have to be WVU alum to join the chapter or watch the games at Laseter’s? Do I have to be from the great state of West (By God) Virginia to join or show up? NO, NO, NO!!! All you have to do is cheer on the Mountaineers with a great group of West Virginia fans.

So mark your calendar for the upcoming season, and we’ll plan to see you for a great season at Laseter’s. Don’t forget to wear your best Blue and Gold…. You’ll be in good company!!!
