Membership is open to both Alumni and Friends of West Virginia University.

How much?

Dues to the Atlanta Peach State Chapter are only $30.00 per year for an individual member or $40.00 for the entire family.

Why should I join?

Joining the Atlanta Peach State Chapter has many benefits for both you and West Virginia University. The chapter strives to develop social functions that allow friends and family of WVU to gather together and share the Mountaineer Spirit. As a result, the chapter has been able to obtain viewing space at Laseter's Tavern for televised WVU games, space that would otherwise be difficult to come by without the sheer numbers our chapter provides.  Additionally, you will receive a membership card that entitles you to 10% your bill at Laseter's.

What do my dues pay for?

Your dues help offset the costs of operating the local chapter, which include tax filing, web hosting expenses and other essential expenses. Dues also help the chapter put on special events for the members, including viewing parties, social functions, etc.  They also help to fund our chapter scholarship.
NO MEMBER OF THE CHAPTER RECEIVES ANY FEE OR PAYMENTS FOR HIS OR HER WORK ON BEHALF OF THE PEACH STATE CHAPTER.

Will joining the Atlanta Peach State Chapter make me a member of the national WVU Alumni Assoc?

No,  We encourage you to join the West Virginia University Alumni Association. Your benefits of membership in the Peach State Chapter do not extend to the West Virginia University Alumni Association. To join the West Virginia University Alumni Association in addition to the Peach State Chapter, please go to the West Virginia University web page at www.wvu.edu . Your membership is not active until your annual dues have been received by the chapter.
